We donate a proportion of the price of all of our coffees to grower support charities:
World Coffee Research works to enhance farmer livelihoods and ensure coffee’s future, conducting essential research on the plant and on the conditions that help it thrive.
Coffee Kids collaborates with coffee communities to ensure the future of coffee. By training and mentoring young coffee farmers and their families, Coffee Kids fosters the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit that will empower these communities. It provides training, mentoring and seed capital to young coffee farmers to implement creative solutions to the challenges they face in the changing coffee industry.
We also encourage all of our customers to help conserve rain forests by choosing our range-topping King Edmund coffee, which is 100% Rainforest Alliance certified.
The Rainforest Alliance uses a comprehensive range of strategies to conserve forests around the world. Its conservation partners include indigenous forest communities, governments, civil society organisations and companies committed to responsible sourcing. Together, they have helped prevent the deforestation of nearly 4.4 million hectares in high-risk landscapes and forest frontiers.
Forests are critical to the survival of every living thing on Earth. Forests clean the air, absorb greenhouse gas emissions, and stabilise the climate—both globally and locally. Forests also provide habitat for 80 percent of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity and livelihoods for 1.6 billion people.
